The campaign includes three main human-centred films (2–3 minutes each) and a series of short vertical reels aimed at Greenlandic youth (18–35).
The films highlight EU–Greenland cooperation through stories focused on education and youth mobility, opportunities abroad, and digital connectivity/infrastructure.
I am Inuk, Kalaaleq, and I was
born and raised in Nuuk.
I also have roots in Europe
especially Denmark and France.
But I’m interested in the whole world.
During my Social Sciences studies
spent six months working at Greenland’s Mission
to the EU in Brussels.
I learned a lot about working
with the EU and important collaboration.
I learned about cooperation
between different sectors.
and I saw how cooperation between
Greenland and the EU works.
The support from the EU
contributed to my stay in Brussels.
It helped me gain a lot of valuable experience.
They were interested in Greenland
and our people,
and I shared my pride in where I come from.
While travelling, I saw and felt
our shared humanity.
And when you see that, you realise
that we are stronger when
we work together.
I believe we are all connected.
The wellbeing of one is connected
to the wellbeing of others.
I hope that what I have learned
will help strengthen Greenland’s
place in the world.
I want others to know that travelling abroad
is not just about leaving home,
it brings new perspectives, new understanding,
new knowledge and new dreams
for your life and your country.
To my fellow young Greenlanders, I want to say -
Try new things.
Travel.
Expand your horizons.
The world is our home, and it is waiting for us.
Go see it.
Through Erasmus+ and the EU-Greenland partnership,
young Greenlanders gain access to education, exchange
and opportunities across Europe.
