The campaign includes three main human-centred films (2–3 minutes each) and a series of short vertical reels aimed at Greenlandic youth (18–35).
The films highlight EU–Greenland cooperation through stories focused on education and youth mobility, opportunities abroad, and digital connectivity/infrastructure.
I was born in Nuuk and grew up in Sisimiut.
As a child, I was always fascinated by how things
were built - bridges, buildings, connections.
I knew early on that I wanted to
become an engineer and
help shape the future of Greenland.
Today, I work at Tusass as a
Senior Project Manager, leading the submarine
cable project, one of the most important
cable project, one of the most important
projects in our country.
We are working to create a safer, stronger and more
stable internet connection for everyone
from schools and hospitals to homes.
The European Union plays a vital role for us.
The EU is contributing with essential funding -
supporting seabed research, feasibility studies
and making it possible to plan the second cable
that will connect South to North Greenland.
that will connect South to North Greenland.
For me, this project is deeply meaningful.
It’s about more than just technology
it’s about people.
It’s about giving families a stable internet connection
making it easier for students to learn
and allowing businesses to grow
so no one is left behind.
As an engineer, I’ve always wanted
to build things that last.
But this project feels different.
It connects us across fjords
mountains and oceans.
I feel proud knowing that
together with EU
we are laying the foundation
for a stronger, more connected Greenland.
Because of the EU partnership, Greenland is building
digital bridge to the world, ensuring that every connection,
from north to south, remains strong.
