Let me start up front by quoting the High Representative and this recently from Ireland where the Gymnich has taken place when she said that what we see coming from the West Bank in terms of violent settlers is extremely,

extremely disturbing, and we have condemned this together with the member states.

Let me also recall our long standing and wider position in terms of the settlements,

because our position is longstanding and extremely clear. Settlements are illegal under international law.

They constitute an obstacle to peace and to the viability of the two-state solution, a two-state solution where two democratic states,

Israel and Palestine,

live side by side in peace and security within secure and Recognized borders.

We have and have consistently called on Israel to halt all settlement expansion,

and we will follow with great attention the implementation of the order by Prime Minister Netanyahu to dismantle unauthorized settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank. Your question was in terms of actions.

Let me recall the actions that we have undertaken at EU level in terms of sanctions against extremist settlers.

We as the EU, have adopted 3 packages of sanctions against extremist settlers and their entities,

and this was under our EU global human rights sanctions regime.

In terms of numbers, this means 12 individuals and 9 entities.

I will also recall that additional proposals are under discussion and are currently in the Council.

And in terms of the state of play of the other angle that you have raised from the trade perspective, though our dear Olof can also come here and unpack our latest,

let me just recall that there has been no clear outcome in the discussions on the different options at the last formal Foreign Affairs Council.

It took place in July or at the core level, meaning no clear majority for any of the options that have been put forward by the Commission, and on that angle,

it is therefore up to the Member States to decide on the next steps,

and I say this without judging about any next step or any discussion that we might be having in the future. You have a follow-up, go ahead.

Actually, I, I, I can refer even to the action that occurring by the settlers in the West Bank,

they are, it's, it's covered by the IDF by the Israeli forces.

Don't you think that, that the sanctions even has to cover the units of the IDF working in the West Bank?
