I'd like to remind you about the informal Council meeting for agriculture and fisheries which is taking place today in Dublin. Commissioner Hanson is representing the Commission.
On the agenda we have a discussion on the role of livestock in European agriculture.
It will be an opportunity for an open discussion on How livestock and food production can be sustainable,
competitive, and resilient whilst Also supporting food security,
generational renewal, and rural communities.
