This video stockshot provides illustration footage of the production of cosmetics made from natural ingredients by Italian company Officina naturae. The company produces sustainable, ecological products that use high quality natural and certified raw materials, mostly of Italian or European origin. The aim is to minimize as much as possible energy waste and avoid the emission of pollutants throughout the products’ lifecycle, as regards both formulations and packaging.
This stockshot is part of a series aimed at showing examples of the EU bioeconomy sector. The Commission proposed an EU Bioeconomy Strategy in 2025, which aims to build a clean, competitive and resilient European economy. The bioeconomy offers Europe a chance to strengthen its strategic autonomy, replace fossil-based materials, create jobs, and lead the global shift to clean industries.
