Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport, visited Moscow on 16-18 November 2010 to discuss future EU/Russia co-operation in transport. On 18 November, he met with Igor Levitin, Russian Minister for Transport, and visited the 4th International Exhibition "Transport of Russia" that was held on 18-20 November 2010 in Moscow. Siim Kallas and Igor Levitin officially opened and visited the exhibition. They both made statements. The exhibition is aimed at facilitating the transport development of the Russia by presenting the most ambitious industrial projects. Traditionally the exhibition features the largest projects in the spheres of railroad, automobile, sea and air transport, as well as adjacent industries, paying special attention to the large-scale innovative projects to affect the future of the country’s transport industry in general.
