Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport, visited Moscow on 16-18 November 2010 to discuss future EU/Russia co-operation in transport. On 17 November, he took part in the plenary session "Transport of Russia – Challenges of the economy of future" of the 4th International Forum "Transport of Russia", which was held on 17-20 November 2010 in Moscow. He delivered a speech on "Global challenges for transport in the European Union". Other speakers included, among others, Sergei Ivanov, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, who made a welcome address, Igor Levitin, Russian Minister for Transport, Sergei Shishkarev, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee for Transport, and Eligijus Masiulis, Lithuanian Minister for Transport and Communications.
