In February 1999, Felipe, Prince of Asturias, was in official visit to the European institution. On 9 February, he was received by Antoni Gutierrez Diaz, Vice-President of the EP, at the European Parliament, in Strasbourg. He also met a delegation of Spanish Members of the EP, and had a meeting with José Maria Gil-Robles, President of the EP.
