On 30 January 2026, Dan Jørgensen, European Commissioner for Energy and Housing, travelled to Lisbon, Portugal, as part of his European Affordable Housing Tour. 

During his visit, he toured the ‘Lote 10 – Entrecampos’ housing project, consisting of 68 flats in a residential construction area under the Affordable Rent Program. 

The European Affordable Housing Tour aimed to address the housing crisis affecting millions of Europeans. As part of the tour, Dan Jørgensen participated in discussions focusing on affordable housing for young people, housing financing and innovative housing models, as well as the balance between accommodation for tourism and residential use.
