ANNOUNCEMENT - College agenda and press events
Good afternoon and welcome to our midday briefing.
Today is Monday, the 14th of September 2026.
Before we open the floor for your questions, please allow me to introduce the college agenda and related press events for the week.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, the College will adopt a fair labor mobility package which will be presented, together with the college readout by Executive Vice President Mînzatu,
that will take place around 4 p.m. tomorrow in the European Parliament's press room in Strasbourg.
You will have seen already that a technical briefing on this same topic will take place today at 2 p.m. under embargo.
We hope this will help you with your reporting ahead of what will certainly be a very busy week.
The Commissioners will also exchange views on a draft proposal for an EU Kids Act,
which will be adopted later this week by written procedure.
It will be presented on Thursday by President von der Leyen and Executive Vice President Virkkunen here in the Berlaymont.
You will receive all the details via our usual channels as soon as possible.
With that, we can open the floor for your questions. Vitalyi.
