She also underlined the need to accelerate electrification, announcing an upcoming Electrification Action Plan. She emphasised the importance of strengthening European manufacturing, addressing unfair competition, and promoting the ‘Made in EU’ criteria.
She concluded by calling for increased investment, particularly through the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) revenues, to support Europe’s clean industrial transition.
