On 24 February 2023, Dubravka Šuica, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Democracy and Demography, attended the inauguration of the exhibition of Ukrainian children’s drawings “Mriyu” (“I dream”) in the Berlaymont in Brussels, Belgium together with Chentsov Vsevolod, Head of the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, and Natalia Melnyk, Coordinator for Ukrainian civil society in Belgium.
The exhibition, organised by the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union and the Ukrainian Civil Society Hub and hosted by the European Commission payed tribute to the Ukrainian courage and resistance since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine on 24 February 2022.
This exhibition is part of a broad charity project aimed at collecting funds for the Ukrainian children and their families.
