On Wednesday 14 September, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, Kristalina Georgieva, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Budget and Human Resources, and Jyrki Katainen, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness, gave a joint press conference on the decision announced by President Juncker during his 2016 State of the Union address to further boost investment to support jobs and sustainable growth, both in Europe and globally.
