On 18 September 2014, Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport and Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro (pro term), participated in the opening of the event 'Green eMotion Electric Rally', organised in Brussels, Belgium. The EU’s flagship e-mobility project, Green eMotion consisted of an electric vehicle rally from the Green eMotion demo. On this occasion, he also gave a speech at the Green Emotion conference and and answered journalist's questions.
