Participation of Siim Kallas, in the TEN-T Days: 16/10/2013
On 16 October 2013, Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transports, travelled to Estonia and visited the Baltic Station in Tallinn where he participated in the official ceremony of the "Rail Baltica" project.
On this occasion, he met with Pavel Telička, European coordinators for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) in charge of the Priority Project No. 27: "Rail Baltica Warsaw-Kaunas-Riga–Tallinn–Helsinki".
The European Commission selected a total of 172 projects aimed to benefit from almost €1.6 billion in EU co-financing from the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) Programme for improving transport infrastructure across Europe.
