Participation of Antonio Tajani at the 49th edition of the Bourget Air Show: signature of Galileo contracts, press conference, statement

On 22 June 2011, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, participated in the 49th edition of the Bourget Air Show in Paris. Antonio Tajani notably attended the signature of the final two contracts, out of six, for Galileo, Europe’s global navigation satellite programme by the European Space Agency (ESA) on behalf of the EC. The combined valued of the two contracts was 355 million €.
