On 4 March 2020, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and the members of the College of the European Commission, gathered together for the weekly meeting of the von der Leyen Commission, in Brussels. Among other items, they discussed the European Climate Law, the European Gender Equality Strategy, and a comprehensive Strategy with Africa. Greta Thunberg, Swedish climate activist, also attended the meeting.
