Participation of Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the EC, and Marianne Thyssen, Member of the EC, in the closing event of the VET Skills European Week 2016

Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the EC in charge of the Euro, Social Dialogue, Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, and Marianne Thyssen, Member of the EC in charge of Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility, participated in the closing event of the "Vocational Education and Training" (VET) Skills Week. This European week, under the motto "Discover Your Talent", took place from 5 to 9 December 2016. Several EU-level events had been held in Brussels, and over 650 national events took place across Europe. Valdis Dombrovskis made a speech on this occasion. Marianne Thyssen participated in the award ceremony and made the closing speech.
