Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport, participated in the extraordinary meeting of the Regulatory Committee for Aviation Security, organised in response to the parcel bombs sent from Greece and Yemen. The Members of the Committee, consisting of aviation safety experts from the Member States and the United States, exchanged views on how to improve security without being prejudicial to the air freight sector.
