Renewable energy - is hydrogen the answer?

In this episode, the host explores the topic of hydrogen – the simplest and most abundant element in the universe. The podcast features 3 speakers. Francesco Matteucci , EIC Programme Manager for advanced materials for energy and environmental sustainability, talks about the progress Europe is making. He also outlines the priorities in terms of production, logistics and use. Indraneel Sen explained the use of photochemistry to extract hydrogen. This was the basis of his EIC-funded innovation. Third on the panel was Rachel Armstrong, who designs and engineers living technologies. She spoke about her breakthrough solution (supported by the EIC) which involves using hydrogen as an energy source in buildings.

Eliminating space debris with innovative technologies
