I want to ask you about Georgian journalist and anchor of TV For Mulavahosnaya,
who was sent to 14 days of administrative detention over a Facebook post concerning Georgian Dream members.
How do you estimate such kind of actions against journalists and free, independent media? Thank you.
Journalists must be able to carry out their vital work,
and this without fear of persecution or undue restraint.
The actions of the authorities, targeting and silencing independent media, undermine the very foundation of democracy,
contradict Georgia's international obligations and run counter to the European aspirations of the Georgian population.
Georgian authorities must release Vakhussanaya,
as well as all those that are arbitrarily detained. Good, yes, please.
