Democracy Schield.

We will set up a new

European Centre for

Democratic Resilience.

Across Europe,

traditional media are struggling.

And when

independent media

is dismantled or neutralised,

our ability

to monitor corruption

and preserve democracy

is severely weakened.

So we need to do more

to protect our media

and independent press.

And we will launch a new

Media

Resilience Programme
