‘Make the connection with EU-science’ is a series of explanatory videos focusing on the scientific content and exploitation aspects of EU research projects.

The current video showcases the ORIGENAL project, which has developed a new 3D packaging concept for transistors, inspired by origami – the ancient Japanese technique of folding paper to create art. Built on a thin foil, the transistors can be bent and shaped into 3D structures with thousands of stacked layers, potentially extending Moore’s Law for decades.
