The Future of European Defence is a priority topic for the EU and a series of policy initiatives should define a new approach and identify the EU’s needs for defensive investment. This video stockshot provides illustration footage of the production of defence equipment at two European companies, KNDS and BAE Systems Bofors. KNDS is a joint venture between KMW and Nexter, two European manufacturers of military land systems based in Germany and France. The images show the production and demonstration of armoured vehicles and mobile artillery systems. BAE Systems Bofors is a defence company based in Sweden that develops and integrates weapons systems. In the images, we see the production of ammunition.
