On 15 May 2024, Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for promoting our European way of life, spoke on the 7th progress report on the implementation of the European Union Security Strategy.

During the meeting, the Commission adopted the seventh progress report on the implementation of the EU Security Strategy 2020-2025. The report provided an overview of progress and achievements in five key areas, such as the protection of the EU's physical and digital infrastructure, the fight against terrorism and radicalisation, the fight against organised crime, the strengthening of law enforcement and judicial cooperation, and collaboration with international partners.
