On 20 may 2014, Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport and Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro (pro term), paid a visit to Pavlo Petrenko, Ukranian Minister for Justice, and Volodymyr Groysman, Ukrainian Vice-Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Building, Housing and Communal Services, in Kyiv, Ukraine. Discussions focused on the Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) programme and related economic reforms. The objective of the MFA programme is to assist Ukraine economically and financially in the current critical stage of its development.
