On 29 November 2012, Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Transport participated to the conference entitled ''Transport business summit – connect to compete'' in Brussels. Business leaders and major players in industry and the economy came together at this unique opportunity to openly discuss the challenges faced by transport in Europe today. In an innovative setting, the event brought together transport service providers and users, policy makers, along with 300 other participants and the media.
