On 25 April 2012, Martin Schulz, President of the EP, paid a visit today in Brussels to José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and to the College of Commissioners. Discussions focused on the Multi-Financial Framework and on the Arab Spring. Both institutions were calling EU Member States to negotiate and agree on an ambitious budget to promote growth and jobs in Europe. After their meeting, Martin Schulz and José Manuel Barroso held a joint press conference.
