On 25 March 2026, Dubravka Šuica, European Commissioner for the Mediterranean, travelled to Zagreb, Croatia.
During her visit, she participated in the Parliamentary Summit titled ‘Advancing the Three Seas Initiative (3SI): Vision, Responsibility, Partnership’, hosted by the Croatian Parliament. The summit brought together speakers from the parliaments of the participating and associated participating states of the 3SI, as well as strategic partners and special guests, to discuss Europe’s connectivity, security, and resilience, with a particular focus on expanding cooperation to the wider Euro-Mediterranean area.
Dubravka Šuica also met with Mohamed Abou El Enein, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, on the sidelines of the event, to discuss the challenges facing the Mediterranean region.
