This report provides illustration photos of European military troops and equipment participating in NATO exercises and training missions.

In September 2023, NATO’s Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft have deployed to Lithuania to monitor the skies over eastern Europe. In February 2024, one of these NATO AWACS aircraft flew with its first all-female crew over NATO’s eastern flank.
