First weekly meeting of the von der Leyen Commission, 04/12/2019

On 4 December 2019, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and the members of the College of the European Commission, gathered together for the first weekly meeting of the von der Leyen Commission, in Brussels. Among other items, they discussed about the organisation, working methods and responsibilities of the new Commission. These will be the basis for the new College to deliver on the President's Agenda for Europe during the next five years, with collegiality, transparency and efficiency as key principles. The members of the College also discussed about the Centre I.D.E.A. - Inspire, debate, engage and accelerate action, the new internal think-tank of the European Commission.
