José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, gave a press conference after the last weekly meeting of the Barroso II Commission which was held on the same day. After 424 meetings of the Colleges of the Barroso I Commission and Barroso II Commission and ten years at the helm of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso would end his term on 31/10/2014.
